William Snoeyenbos
Associate Attorney| Privacy, Cybersecurity and Testing
William Snoeyenbos is an associate attorney in the Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Testing practice group. He assists clients with a full spectrum of privacy and information security compliance, including drafting privacy policies, privacy impact assessments, information security policies, and incident response plans.
William helps clients understand and comply with numerous privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) and the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA). He provides client alerts on recent developments in the fast-changing privacy and information security regulatory environment.
William also assists clients with developing risk mitigation strategies based on privacy and information security standards, including the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SP 800-53 privacy control framework, cybersecurity framework, and artificial intelligence risk management framework. In his prior role, he drafted privacy program documents and helped respond to data security incidents for government clients.
William is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
