Felicito Guiyab is a tenured technical patent preparation and prosecution attorney. The core of his experience centers around cases involving software, wireless communications & devices, circuit design, and semiconductor manufacturing. He is based out of Austin, Texas but works with Han Santos’ Seattle office & Clients.
Felicito currently represents a large telecommunications company and provides counsel and patent drafting services for several startups.
Prior to kickstarting his legal career, Felicito worked as a process engineer for a major semiconductor company based in Dallas. He is also an experienced test engineer having worked for a leading producer of high-performance test solutions for commercial, defense, and space applications.
As a member of academia at the University de Santo Tomas, in his native Philippines, Felicito taught microelectronics, instrumentation and control systems, and engineering management. He represents a subset of the firm’s legal counsel that can rely on both a technical engineering background as well as an academic one, coupled with a passion for Intellectual Property Law.
