Patent Docketing Clerk/ Office Assistant

Position: Han Santos, PLLC, located in downtown Seattle, is seeking a part-to-full time office assistant and patent docketing clerk. Primary job responsibilities include: greeting and receiving visitors; directing telephone calls; scheduling meetings and making travel arrangements; maintaining and ordering office supplies; preparing and mailing client letters, legal forms and supporting documents; entering patent bibliographic data and deadlines in the docketing database; formatting and generating reports; and managing special projects.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate has experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and Sharepoint. Knowledge of patent docketing software, preferably AppColl or Lecorpio, and familiarity with USPTO and international patent deadlines is desirable, but not required. This position is available to entry level candidates, or those with 1-2 years of related law firm administrative or database experience or equivalent. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of responsibility, professionalism, teamwork, dedication to accuracy and thoroughness in work product, and a desire to grow with our dynamic and diverse team.
